I spent the afternoon at disney last saturday, and having not been to the magic kingdom in over 5 years (at least) a lot of stuff sure is different. (di-ffer-ent!) on their quest to be known as a "progressive company," they have sacrificed the very tradition that their establishment has sought to create. i'm not saying some things aren't better, but dammit, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! well, my little visit led to a disturbing revelation: when i really stop to think about it, the structure of my nightmares resembles a disney ride. it's usually on some kind of broken or otherwise rickety track, and sometimes it's a cart, sometimes it's a rope i have to cling to tightly, but it's always rooms full of unspeakable horror. (oh, i dare not speak it!) and falling off these rides is death. and it's all animatronic. with that said, the haunted mansion is awesome as usual (good god, NOT the movie!), especially with my newly acquired knowledge of the backstory. what backstory, you ask? well, google it or something, i don't feel like going into it.
