These days people are very much to e-card. Very few people bother to buy a real card. What about you? Will you send a real card on this valentine day?

No we do real cards, either we take our time out to search for or we make our selves. I love real cards, and I collect each one my kids and husband give me. E-cards are great for internet friends.

I do not send real Valentine cards beause they are expensive for me. I do not have a lot of money. I like to find pretty ecards on the net and email them to people.

I think that I would send e-card over real valentines cards. But, at the same time...the little Valentines cards are great when you have others near you to give to them!! But, I would send e-cards because they do not cost anything and they will get there in time! Not with REAL Valentines cards. They may come early or late. And that is not fun!! :)

Definitely NOT !! I wouldn't waste my money .. it just makes the card companies even more rich than they already are .. ! Even when I had a partner we didn't bother with cards .. it's just a bit of fancy paper that gets thrown away the next day .. what we used to do was buy a very small but novel gift with the money we would have spent on a card .. the gift had to be original, related to hobbies we had or our various interests and hard to find ... so it took quite a bit of ingenuity to come up with the little gift .. and it always meant a lot as clearly a lot of thought had to be put into the gift .. One of the best 'little gifts' I've received was a little plastic blade that you hook over one finger to peel oranges with .. I like oranges but peeling them makes me shudder for some reason .. so the gadget was a brilliant find .. and in fact I still have it and use it regularly .. much better than a rubbishy card ...

I'm a bit mushy when it comes to cards but with Valentine's Day I will always give my husband a real card and not necessarily one that says "Happy Valentine's Day" - I would rather give a nice card which is blank inside so I can write out my own message of love to him. I can send e-cards for birthdays or Christmas or other times of year to friends but family members always get "real" cards with my own words in them. x

I dont buy the valentines cards i send i make them and then send them to my little cousins. Honestly though I'm not big on valentines day from a couples point of view. It thrills me more when my boyfriend brings me flowers or does something sweet any other day but valentines day its like oh..he did it cause its expected. So we dont celebrate it together (this year on valentines day we laid on the couch watched a hockey game and ate pizza)

Since I really enjoy this holiday, I be sending my own handmade cards to all of my ladies! :) I don't have any special reason to send e-cards except for business purposes, which they are really good for... the computer can remind me and send an e-card to someone who's listed on my account, with great music and images and my own voice, if I choose... For purposes of Romance though, I prefer to be as "hands-on" as possible! :)

Why send a real card that could cost up to 5 bucks AND have to send it threw snail mail and wonder if it got to the person in time. One can schedule an e-card to be sent on that day! And it costs nothing! Save money...guaranteed on time delivery. :)

There will be some e cards to the people I socialize with in the net. In person we will just have dinner and each get a box of chocolates. My parents will get a letter. So I guess that my answer is no. Will you be sending a real card to anyone? Do you do Ecards?

I don't think Valentine's Day is such a big thing here in England as it is in the States. They are cetainly never sent between children and parents, or anything like that. My partner and I don't really celebrate - we prefer to say "I love you" every day without gaving to be told when to celebate our locve for each other. So no, I won't be sending one.

This is very true rosie that we should not wait to valentine day to tell them how much we love them. We can make every day a valentine day.

I agree .. here in the UK Valentines Day is a day for lovers only .. and in anycase it's just something the card companies trumped up to create more card sales between the holiday periods of Christmas and Easter ..

Im giving my hubby a gift and a card and a handful of people will get real Valentines card from me -- my 2 best friends, my nieces and my mom. Thats about it. I used to send a lot more but my friends are not really too keen on writing on a real card and mailing them and most of them are overseas. So I choose a handful of people who will receive a gift or card from me.

It's been few years ago since I bought the real Valentine card. And I don't think I will buy again this year. Just try to show or celebrate with my husband in the house with lots of love. And for friends, I will send e-cards,that's the easiest way for me.

Probably not. I have been mostly sticking to sending online e-cards to my friends, since my friends that I talk to enough to be sending them cards are all online, anyway. I actually put more thought and time into finding a great online e-card than I probably ever did looking for a card in the store, anyway, because it's so much fun to look through all of the sites that have great flash animated cards and find one(s) that are appropriate that you know your friends would love! ^_^

I actually just sent a real valentines card to my special someone yesterday. I know ecards are way easier for so many things but I thought something real and tangible well be nice for a change. Nothing beats the feeling when at the age of new technology someone would actually take time to write a letter along with a real card for a special day for you. I like it make it more personal rather than just a simple email on your inbox. I know it's the thought that counts as well so it doesnt matter if it wont get there in time. But as long as they know I wanted it to get there on time and that i took time to make it, Well i hope they appreciate it. By then, it'l be worth the money spent!:)

Im not having a patner.Thats why i wont think about that.If i have a girlfriend then definitly i will give a card, its written in my own.So in my thougt of you real card means one who created a new design with new thinking.
