I have just seen the movie Happy Feet, and am really impressed by it. Tell me how many of you have liked, and the reasons for that. The reason why I liked it is very simple. It shows very well, in a way that communicates well to the kids, how the society works on false notions.

I got it on my computer, but I haven't watched it yet... Is it a movie for children or is it funny to people of all ages?

I haven't seen it yet but I'm looking forward to do so one of this days because I really like animation movies and this one seems to be pretty cool.

I just watched it with my kids last week, and I loved it. It made them ask questions about how we affect the world...all the way at the south pole even. The movie highlites environmental issues as well as showing how an individual that doesn't "fit in" can make a very positive difference. It teaches acceptance and individuality - two things I find very important.

I thought it was a little bit too preachy, since I came to see a cute penguin movie with a good storyline and this one just.. I don't know. Him suddenly being dumped back into Antarctica was a bit of a deus ex machina, and it seemed like just too much message and not enough movie. Overall, it was adorable, and I liked the "accepting people's differences" part of the message.
