PETA Killing Shelter dogs WTF?

Has anyone been following this or have any additional information. I just briefly read that 2 PETA employees took dogs from a shetler in north Caorlina and put them to sleep int he back of their van, and dumped the carcasses in a dumpster behind a grocery store because they said it was more HUMANE? I am literally shaking with anger. I consider myself to be an animal rights activist, however, I am not rabid by any means. How dare they do something so horrible. The shelter claimed that PETA told them they would be taken to no-kill shelters so that they could be adopted, but instead these two animals themselves, put them to sleep before they even got away from the shelter???? I am so shocked. Hypocrites.
