how do you tell your friend that her/his underarm smells so bad?

i have this cousin's friend who's underarm smells so bad. my cousin tried to gave her deo as if my cousin wants them to have same deodorant so she won't offend her friend. but her freind did not accept it coz she doesn't need it as she say coz she already smells good. does her friend have a problem with her sense of smelling? or just pretending coz she's embarassed by my cousin's offer?

that is really a hard task.i suppose teling her in a nice manner really fits the situation.if not its her loss so better to cnfront her in private.

I would approach her/him and tell it straight, yup, you're cousin's gesture tends to embarrassed your friend by givin that deo. If your friend is an open minded she/he would be embarrassed anyway.

Hi. sazzy29. Well if I can, I would do so privately. I will also tell him in a way that will not offend him/her too. I think that her friend knows that her underarm is not smelly. She is just too ashamed to say that it is too. All that she has to do is lift up her underarm and I am sure that she can smell the bad odor that reeks from it too. Then she can smell her own self then.

in one of your conversation, make up a story about another friend who have underarm odor. exaggerate the story in such a way it will make an impression that having an underarm odor is funny and embarrassing. this way your friend will become conscious.
