I agree with you. Our family are the ones who are suppose to be there for us no matter what. It hurts a lot when they aren't there or they do things they know will deliberately upset and hurt us. I've been there and it took a long time to get over it. We just don't expect it will be our family that will do something to cause us pain, but then there is that saying You hurt the ones you care about the most. :( It 's tough but we do get through it.

yes, it does hurt more when family does it. they are the ones you grew up depending on and trusting in what they said to you. when everybody else disappears (for whatever reason) your family is the one your suppose to just know will still be there for you.
so it hurts much much worse when that life-long caring suddenly disappears.
