It's natural that children follow their parents' footsteps because they know that their parents know best. And because they are children they do not have the ability to distinguish right from wrong so they only rely to what they see on their parents. As a parent we should be careful with our actions especially when our children is around, because everything we do seems 'right' for their innocent eyes.

Yes it is you are right mypigbox. Children see their parents as their models. And as children they tend to stay more inside the house especially when they are not yet schooling. Parents can influence their children strongly. Children mimic what their parents do. If they see good things, they will do good things most probably, but if they see you doing bad practices, they will do that too because they ARE FOLLOWING YOU. Whatever parents do, in the eyes of a child they are correct!

hi,thats true.in childhood days, parents are role models to them and they try to imitate them as children are best imitating power. If parents are good in all aspects, the children also learn and behave good, otherwise, the negative behaviour effects of parents will influence the children also.

This is true when they are very young but as they start to grow everything around them becomes a role model , from the t.v they watch to what they are seeing in schools and when they go to their friends houses . There are so many factors tht will make your child become who they feel they need to be for themselves .
As parents we will always be some kind of a role model but so will every other influence in their lives .
