......EVER Since I started listening to ROCK - I started out with these two AWESOME bands' and from them on - moved towards the current AMAZING bands a few... - BUT I wanna know the CHOICE of the MAX' - ppl. - PLEASE all you faNS, choose your CHOICE nd JUSTIFY your CHOICE too.... For me it's got to be Pink Floyd all the way, no question. The superb musicianship of Roger Waters and David Gilmore,and the origiality of the music they wrote, has lasted for thirty odd years, and is still as fresh as ever - take the Dark Side of the Moon album for instance, and The Wall - this stuff will last forever............

well said... buddy - and I agree wid wat you say - but don't you agree that GnR music is also original and I believ' - FOR world SLASH! is 2nd or 3rd best in GUITAR but personally I find him d best - its not tht I dn't luv Pink Floyd thou' as I m a gr8 fan of dem also... Like V the Series of Pink Floyd'(Dark Side of Moon and THE Wall) sameways - u have singles' from GnR - namely November Rain and Sweet Child of Mine... also Welcome to the Jungle ....
......THE differnce I will tel you is why PINK Floyd' in all THAT more special - its that mostly in any album, you will have a song or quite a few songs reaaaaaaaaly gooooooooooood BUT in Pink Floyd's case - their speciality is that there SONGS and music would be in continuation from 1st song' to last and THT's wat make's fans CRAZy cos. dey never ever can knw wat started of when and got over and wat next, started... and on dis note NOONE would ever get tired of listenin' 2 dem...CHEERS!!!!!!

i like some of ramstein songs but i am not a hard core fan of rock .i dont hear much rock only linkin park and ramstein
top 5 songs i liked is

--ich will--ramstein and there are many more ramstein songs which i dont remember the name

Both of them are great but Pink Floyd is my all time favourite cause I love their writing and music their music speaks to me more

G 'n' R can be enjoyed by all.But Pink Floyd is for a more mature audience.It's a different style altogether

Pink Floyd, no doubt, who can beat having an album on the top 100 list for 30 some years? definitely not G n R, although they were great, i prefer pink floyd baby!

They are two such COMPLETELY different bands. That's like saying "Ever since I started eating food I cant decide if I like chocolate or spaghetti better." Teehee, I can understand why you love both these bands but of course, Pink Floyd wins out by a long, all encompassing, mile. Concept, concept, concept.
