US Scientists are working on a device for crowd control. Volunteers testers have been assured there is no long term dangers as a result of being zapped and now have no protection with their permission of course. Read the article http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Active_Denial_System So would you get zapped in the name of science?

Get zapped????? what the heck is going on here, microwave people???????? If they are 'testing', then how do they know it has no longterm effect - that don't make sense for a start!! My god tetchie you do find some stuff don't you hahaha! The answer is - NO, I would not get zapped for no-one, not now, not ever, no thanks!!

When you see what the microwave does to your food when you leave it in too long. Hmmmm! So how long do you think it will take the testees to sue the testers?

This would probably save a lot of lives in Palestine where mobs form and begin throwing rocks leaving Israeli soldiers with no alternative but to shoot to protect themselves and disperse the mob. On the other hand I can see this technology being misused by dictatorships to prevent peaceful demonstrations against their regimes. But on the other hand the existing alternative seems to be to round them up and torture them or throw them in prison, so once again I'd prefer the microwaves.

It certainly will be interesting to see what comes of this type of technology. Maybe if you had it permanently turned on you could have an invisible defense shield.
