Are "Strictly Online Affairs" still classified as cheating?

Now I am not talking about myself here, so dont go getting all judgemental and jumping down my throat lol.
If you are in a relationship, and talk to someone online, at what stage does it become cheating? If you flirt with them? If you tell them more about yourself, and your feelings then you do your boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/ wife? If you arramge to meet up with them and dont, if you do meet up with them platonically?
In your eyes what constitutes as "cheating"?

Well that depends on the extent of chats, if the chat is sort of platonic then it is not cheating. But if it goes beyond that then it is cheating. I always warn my net friends when they are going beyond and cheating their wifes. So I am known as police by them. Actually it is in your thoughts first you cheat your partner then follows the real action. Thoughts are very important.

I think as long as the relationship is platonic, I do not think that it would be considered cheating at all. Although, if I get to the point that I am telling someone else about how I feel and not my partner, I think there is something wrong there.

though you can't strictly say that online affairs should be termed as cheating but in most of the cases they are just fake and mostly ends up once the two got physically engaged i have seen so many cases like this so from that experience i am saying like this and it's not to hurt the feelings of any individual
