I remember watching Hitch and The New James Bond Movie, both which came out quite awhile ago and wondered how they based the personalities off individual people. Not only from the normal interactions between verbal (talking and conversation) and non-verbal (facial gestures and body language) but also through clothing (clothes they choose, how they wear them), hair (how they fix themselves or don't), and so forth and so on. I was wondering if anyone knew what specific branch this is of psychology and any more details as to how they did such things. I've read a bit on snap judgments, profiling. body language, and so forth, but haven't read any on external factors such as clothing choice and style, and wear, to shoe choice. I am aware that many law enforcement and government officials are trained in such things so please chime in and let me know

So far it doesn't like it. Read the article but doesn't talk about what I wanted. Thanks though RAMPersona.
