would you give up your career for the one you love?

I think so. If I get someone whom I really love I will be ready to give up the career. But I hope I will have alternatives for that :)

Well, that is a tough one. I think though, if that person loves you and knows that the career is very important for both of your future, you shouldn't have to choose between them at all.

I think loved ones are more precious than any career. I think careers can happen at any time but true love or your family might not always be there.

this is just the way i see it. but if you really and i mean really love someone, like sompletely and utterly in love with someone, you would give up anything for them. and ive always thought, "if you give up everything for your career and it doesnt work out, and in the process you lose the love of your life, where has your life gone?" ive said to my partner that, she is more important in my life then my career ever could be.
