The major one being CORRUPTIOn Most of the economy to be spent for welfare is eaten by politicians for their personal needs! Huge population is a factor but there is china which is still better than india Poverty , population, efficiency all are related to Corruption

both the reasons i disagree, high population should increase the grpowth much higher than what is expected off.. i consider politics and un organised things.. second one is governmanet policy/..
