is it normal

Since my wife gave birth to her first child last week, i feel as if an stranger has entered our life, which became suddenly a noisey one after it was very quite, i don't wether this feeling will continue or not!

sorry to say, your feelings are strange for me. children are the blessings of Allah, accept them with a smile in your heart. Allah will be happy. you will be able to change your feelings to your child. time makes every thing. when mind changes, you can enjoy any thing. seen your web site. its really great.

thank you very much , I know those feeling are abnormal , for that reason i am astonished more than you to ward myself and even blaming myself , your words might help to improve my feelings , I need also experience of other new or old fathers thanks again .

Don't worry, I'm sure you feelings are normal. From a mom's point of view I didn't share the same feelings, but then again, it wasn't a stranger to me, it grew in my body. I'm sure the first time your child smiles at you, you'll feel entirely different.
