Is honey good for infants?

I have a 1 month old baby. She gets constipated so i keep on giving her water. Unfortunately she doesn't like plain water so i thought of mixing it with honey to taste. Is honey safe for infants?

I was always told when my kids were small that honey is like poison to an infant. I wouldn't give it to her. Try some of the pedialite flavored water instead. Or try adding just a pinch of regular sugar to the water.
