Home or Restaurant

Someone ask me this question - Do you rather invite your date for dinner outside in a nice restaurant or do it in the private of your home with the romantic atmosphere that you can create? Hhhmm, a restaurant would be nice, but to impress that someone, home cooking is the best. Do you agree?

I would rather eat at home with someone making a fuss over me. It isn't the fuss I care about. It is the fact of someone caring enough to make a fuss about me. That impresses me to no end.

Couldn't agree more. So you know they care and take the trouble to trouble themselve just for you..hhmm, whether the food is good enough is another chapter hah.

If I ever do invite my date out for dinner I would take them to a restaurant. I don't want to mistakenly make something that they don't like and there be nothing else for them to eat. At least at a restaurant they will be able to order whatever they want to eat with no questions asked.

To add further, if you are interested in that person, roughly you have some ideas on what he or she like and don't like, so there shouldn't be any problem on what that person like to eat, plus you can play his/her favourite music in the background to cover the quality of the food if you are not that good at cooking. Don't you agree?

eating in a restaurant nowadays is too costly. On special occassions I prefer preparing it at home, with my personal touch. like this valentines day our date will just be in our home, I love cooking and I love preparing the venue according to the needed ambience, I have the dinnerwares and accessories so I like it at home. also if it is done with hardwork for a lovedone it is more special, memorable and romantic

Hhhmm, I'm very happy with your response. It sum up my preferance too actually. Being a person who love to cook, I would rather do it myself, as what you said, cooking something with love and the thought of the person that we love, make the food taste better.

I think for the first few dates, while you are still getting to know each other - going out to eat is a better date. Once you know each other better, then I think it's nice to invite them over for dinner and cook something for them. I think it's more romantic, but I don't invite anyone to my house unless I know them well enough.
