i find similar kinds of discussions ,quite boring ones..or the ones that keep repeating themselves catching up with so many responses and even on the main page.
i feel now that people make friends and decide among themselves that they would respond to each other's discussions.
nobody bothers to respond to good discussions.
and that really annoys me at times.
once i was told if your discussions get atleast 10-15 responses within an hour ...your discussion is displayed on the main page...today i found a discussion with 4 responses on the main page...whats that!
is it that the top users or the ones who have actually carved a niche for themselves here...are favoured.
ill get mad....everyday a different story...a different advice by different people....different ideas which dont work out once implemented!
will anybody tell me whats going on here.

people make groups of friends so they work for each other, they respond each other's discussions so that they all get a n appreciable amount of replies, which means money of course.
I think that it's cool to support friends, but it's also necessary to dedicate some time to browse around and check for some quality posts (like this by the way) that worth a read, no matter if the person belongs to your group of friends or not....after all we're all here for the fun and not for the money aren't we? don't know of anybody who has become rich posting like this.

I am interested to know how discussions make the front page as well. I used to think it was the last discussion to have a reply but it obviously isn't that as some haven't been replied to for ages.
some people always seem to feature on the front so maybe its something to do with the number of friends they have.

I have no idea of how people get their posts into front pages, all i can say is that so far i have never seen one of mines over there but i am not complaining, i've gathered a nice group of friends already so i guess everything will come :)

Hm.. I will have to scratch my head over this issue. If what you say is what is happening here, then it's not really nice to hear. Even I have been trying to get some discussions on the top board, never been able to do that. Maybe I will also check from now, whose posts are there.
