E-gold or paypal

i have just been told that e-gold is better than paypal,ikobo and all other money transacting site.is there any body out there that can tell me if this is true or not

if Paypal account is available for our
country then we have to opt for it . If
Paypal is not available then we have to
signup for E-gold account .
