Responding to a topic

I typed the the web address for mylot into my computer's address bar and hit return. And a topic practically pulled my attention straight away. I read through every line and every response and I was riveted and felt compelled to respond with a post of my own. I sat there and started to type and I was both passionate and heartfelt with my response....I could feel the warmth of my flushed cheeks as I banged away with bravado at the keyboard! It felt good to give some positive advise on a topic I was so deeply emotional with. I could almost taste my own words....I read my post back to myself...I was proud as I read the carefully etched words aloud. Then I hit return.....NOOOOOOO! I cried! My words were gone....and there in front of me was the MyLot Registration Page!......I had forgotten to log in! Aargh! How frustrating!...I was so sure that was going to be my best post to date...and I blew it! Has it happened to you? If so, how often? Because I just know that I'm going to repeat that mistake one day......I wasn't laughing at the time.....but I am starting to feel a smile build already! I am such a goose sometimes!!(yeah ok,ok....most of the time!)....Now tell me some of your experiences! I need someone to laugh with me, not just at me!.....

You do leave good responses. You have left one on mine and I really enjoyed it.

I know how you felt ...it is so frusterating when that happens .Last night this happened to me but mylot had a quick outage or something , I had 3 paragraphs written for a discussion about vaccines for cervical cancer , I have never written 3 paragraphs before ,so I was very upset needless to say. I was messaging a friend here ans she couldn't read her mesages either ...

I make sure I am logged in, but I have done that before. Sometimes, if I am doing a large post, or one which is very involved, I might get the 'notepad' accessory out, and copy & paste it onto that, just so I have a record of what I have done. In some instances, I will also do it but use the word processing program instead, so that I can check the spelling on it as well.

I am laughing with you because I know we all make those silly mistakes sometimes. I don't think that I ever sign out of mylot at all. I am always loged in unless I use someone else computer, then I have to log in.
