Work at home as an Adult Phone Actress?

United States
February 4, 2007 12:32pm CST
So I was on craigslist and I saw an ad hiring for adult phone actors and actresses... I am considering doing this since my son is a little older now... My family is going through financial hardships and I don't want to go back to work full time because I like staying home with my son. I have worked at home before with another company in a call center type environment. It was nice but my son was younger and he needed more of my attention. So I am seriously thinking about doing this for the money. :) What are your thoughts? I won't be offended since they are YOUR opinions and I believe everyone is entitled to think what they want! ;)

I would consider doing it if the moeny was good, and you have a safe, untaceable phone connection. Why not? It is not hurting anyone and you get to stay home. Sounds good to me.

Hey there. :) You seem open minded like me. :) Anyway, yes this company said there is NO WAY anyone can see your number of find it out. So I am safe there. ;) I am just really curious about this.

I knew a friend some time ago who did this and she was happy and made good money. The calls were forwarded from the company to her home phone, so no one ever got her home telephone number and she worked from the comfort of her home. She said the day shift was always slow but the nights and weekends is when she would get the majority of the calls. Good luck with it.

Thank you so much for your input. :) Also, thanks for sharing your friend's story. :) I figure the "day shift" would be slow. Unfortunately that would be the best time for me since my hubby would be at work. Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to CHEAT on him, just earn extra money! :)

My thought is if you are comfortable doing it and you can make decent money then go for it. I know I would if I could deal with talking on the phone all the time. I'm not a big phone person. I've known a few women who do this and make great money at it. As long as you are ok with it then that is all that matters.

I'm sure that there are other ways that you could make money working from home too, but from what I've heard, this would probably pay better than most of the others so as long as you are comfortable doing it, why not?

I have actually applied for a couple of those! But due to kids I am kind of glad I didnt get hired, However there is texting jobs that do the same thing. I found a couple of them on www.WorkatHomeCareers.com maybe apply to those too and see what you can get!

Hey go for it. I have tried to find out more about it but couldn't find the link if you would be so kind and send it to me that would be great. Good luck if you do it. It's not like you need to tell everybody who knows you what you are doing. It's phone work.
