unable to send .com, .exe attachment..

i m trying to send a files of program to my friend. i was able to upload it but while trying to send it there occured a problem. it said couldn't send file with .com or . exe extension file due to security reason. so cud u tell me any other possible way to send that prgram file to mu friend...

I don't know you will be allowed to send .com file or not but you won't be allowed to send .exe files to stop piracy and may be one reasone could be that they may think it to be a worm or virus or some thing.

Did you try zipping the file using winzip or winrar and then sending it? The only problem is that your friend must have winzip or some other unzipping tool.
