I sit down with my husband and 4 kids on grocery shopping day and each person gets to choose a meal for the week or at least suggest a meal and then I shop for those things when we make up our menu for the week. I shopped last night for grocerys for meals until Wednesday. We are having: Saturday (last night): Taco Salad: nacho chips, meat, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream etc. Sunday: (today): Stew - beef tips, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, mushrooms Monday: left over stew Tuesday: Hamburgers & tater tots Wed: chicken fingers and mac & cheese

give a try to this. 2 chicken livers 1 anchovy ( the whole salted variety 3" long) Saute the chicken livers in butter, when they have absorbed it sprinkle them with broth and a pinch of pepper, but no salt.when they are cooked , mince them with the scaled and boned anchovy , and return the mixture to the pan with a little more butter. heat it without bringing it to a boil.and spread it over thin slices of toasted bread.done.

Grilled Fish Steaks SUBMITTED BY: Colleen "My husband is not much of a fish lover but when I made this recipe with halibut he very much enjoyed it. It's very simple." INGREDIENTS 1 clove garlic, minced 6 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon dried basil 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley 2 (6 ounce) fillets halibut DIRECTIONS In a stainless steel or glass bowl, combine garlic, olive oil, basil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and parsley. Place the halibut filets in a shallow glass dish or a resealable plastic bag, and pour the marinade over the fish. Cover or seal and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour, turning occasionally. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate. Set grate 4 inches from the heat. Remove halibut filets from marinade and drain off the excess. Grill filets 5 minutes per side or until fish is done when easily flaked with a fork. Fish in Foil SUBMITTED BY: Denyse "The 'no smell' fish recipe that is the ONLY one I make for my family (I hate fish, they LOVE it!). Take foil packets to table for service, and keep them around for the discarding of bones and skin. Then when dinner's done, haul those babies to the outside trash." INGREDIENTS 2 rainbow trout fillets 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 teaspoons garlic salt 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 fresh jalapeno pepper, sliced 1 lemon, sliced DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Rinse fish, and pat dry. Rub fillets with olive oil, and season with garlic salt and black pepper. Place each fillet on a large sheet of aluminum foil. Top with jalapeno slices, and squeeze the juice from the ends of the lemons over the fish. Arrange lemon slices on top of fillets. Carefully seal all edges of the foil to form enclosed packets. Place packets on baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the size of fish. Fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
