Ooh! I used to make friendship bracelets _all_ the time! I can't even count the number of them that I made over the years when I was younger. Of course, there are many kinds of friendship bracelets, but the ones that I made the most are the kind where you make a sort of a loop in the form of a 'four' to make knots in the string/yarn. I used to buy a certain type of thread from the craft stores all the time and makes tons of those bracelets! ^_^

we did those last year with long plastic "scoobies",they are super but with the wool thay can ba simple as a twist. I have a really long friendship scoobie I made for the family bathroom light pull so both the boys can reach it in pretty colours.

I haven't made any recently, but I did used to make them. Partly it is because I am too busy on the internet now, trying to write books, attract custom for my writing service and generally get an income going. I like to think I use invisible bracelets of positive thoughts of love and protection to bind my friends now :-)

how lovely like a big spiders web connecting all the people we care about, I like to think feelings hold us all together no matter how far away we are or how long since we were in touch.

Thank you :-). It is sort of a follow on from the concept of the silver cord which binds the astral body to the physical body. Invisible bands of energy connecting friends.

My kids wore the bracelets all the time. They would make them with yarn and give them to their friends. They had a great time making them.

My daughters have all made friendship bracelets. Usually out of beads and colourul string. I think it is a neat way to show your friends how important they are to you. At one point my daughter was given so many and she insisted on wearing all of them at once, so I teased her that anymore friends and they'd be up to her elbow ... :)

It's lovely to see how popular your kids are when they have loads isn't it, makes you feel proud that you are bringing them up to be such good people.

i won't give anything inedible to my friends. If we have a fall out, it will just be thrown away. I don't like anything wasted because everything can be put to good use. Only a few recycle and i don't want to add up to the mounting garbage that gives off harmful gases into our ozone layer. I'll just give him/her candy, chocolates, flowers that wilt or mangoes.

You'd have to knot candy bootlace together, I know what you mean but I have some really old ones looking tired and manky up in the roof, I couldn't part with them tho' it'd be like throwing a precious part of the friendship away.
