What would you do with people who break legs of dogs with stones ?

I will stop the persons who throws stones ta the dogs and break their legs and advice them not to do as it is very bad to hurt animals.human feel the same pain as the animals feel

Ye gods. I'd call the SPCA, tell them to hurry, and then pick up a big rock... ...and the story would end with me on the news in handcuffs with the dog in my lap. o.O

I never really heard of people throwing stones at a dog, to break his legs. But wow, I honestly don't know how I would react. I'm a huge animal lover, so I would probably pick up and throw stones at that persons head. I mean, if he can be amused by hurting a dog for no reason.. then I should have the same right to hurt him with stones for amusement. But, I definitely think people that are this retarded and rude need to be punished. And not punished by not being able to own animals, that's not harsh enough. I want fines to be paid, jail time, probation, counseling, all of that. And also, they shouldn't be allowed to own animals at any point in their life after that. They should also have to pay the medical bills that the dog is going to have from the vet and whatnot.

First attempt I will try to explain him about the pain of animals, and i will ask him that if anyone do such cruel activity with ur pet then what will u do? perhaps, his reply would be lesson for him. Otherwise i do complain to the animal conservation authority to take appropiate and proper action against him.

I think we have animals rights here in the USA. So, thankfully they are safe here because of that.

To be honest, I'd like to throw a boulder at their heads and see how they like it!! People like this make me sick!! They deserve to go to prison!

Pick up a rock and throw it at their head. When it comes to animals, some wild instinct in me takes over and I think I would just use brut force until the at attacker backed off. I'm only small but I'm passionate :-)

Animals are just like people. I would most definatly report someone if I saw them hurting a animal. They are helpless just like little babies. You wouldn't want to see a baby getting stoned. So why see a animal getting stoned. Report people like that its not right.

How cruel the people why they not understand the animal feelings. If they dont want to take care then leave them on their basis. Why harrash them. If I will there then I will annoyed on that person.

It's difficult here in the Philippines because we do not have any law strictly governing for animal welfare. but if i see one, i will really tick him off for doing that. Oh how I wish I could also throw stone on him and break his leg. I really pity on dogs being maltreated by humans.

I don't have pets but that is cruel. they will put you in jail for abusing animals. in our city. they they have pain like we do. But when you think about the meat we eat from slaughters animals that is really something to think about too.

hi there - I see you live in India and I don't know what your laws are like for protecting animals. This is really terrible behavior, not just for the animals but also for the people doing this. It means that they are becoming desensitized to pain and violence and their next target could be another human or even a child. I really don't know what the solution is but if it is children doing this, their parents need to intervene. If not, the law needs to stop them. If you see people doing this, go over to them and tell them you believe their behavior is wrong and to stop.

If I was young and agile enough, I would break the offenders legs. However, to keep within the boundaries of the law, I would phone the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and also the police. These people who hurt animals should be severely punished for commiting such horendous acts.

I think it is inhumane to hurt dogs.A matter of fact I had my neighbors dog taken away and he had to go to some kind of counseling.I called the humane society.He would go to work and leave his dog tied to a fence with no food or water for 10 hrs a day.He would bark all day.I would sneek over and feed and water him.I have a pitbull/dalmation that my son rescued.A bunch of adults were taking turns kicking him and had him by the scruff of his neck punching him.He turnrd out to be the best dog I ever had.Thank to my son saving him.
