It improves my morale!! I am more comfortable in casual clothes, and can focus more on my work. AND ir's easier on my paycheck, as I don't have to spend as much money on clothing and dry cleaning to maintain a business wardrobe. I just started a job where I get to wear JEANs every day and I love it! I used to work in sales where I needed to wear a suit every day. YUCK!

It depends on your point of view I guess. And the circumstances of the job. Are you working with the public? Then yes, I'd want to make sure that an image of professionalism is projected, suitable to the business. Are you not dealing with the public? Then I think that being able to have some leeway to wear comfortable clothing can help morale at work. Although comfort and style are highly subjective. Personally, I wouldn't want to work with girls wearing belly shirts or guys wearing baggy jeans sleeveless shirts because it just looks sloppy and disrespectful to me as well as being distracting to other employees. But that's just my opinion. I work in a factory and we all wear the same uniform. Personally, after working in offices all of my life, I love not having to worry about what to wear in the morning. My choice is between this, this or that pair of navy blue pants or this, this or that blue cotton shirt. Very easy and fast!
