Reading this question, most would tend to think that murder is the most heinous crime. But i believe that more than killing one or two persons, killing millions of people by making flawed justifications in order to further personal gain would be the most heinous crime.

The biggest crime is stupidity born out of ignorance that can be corrected through education. No one needs the fear of god to do the right thing. Just training to think rationally and informedly, which can be provided through education. However, in a species that considers education "business" that should only be conducted for profits, you may fully expected children to be killed by the ignoramus.
