i really don't mind how people do it. it seems a lot these days is done by email and particularly SMS but i don't have a problem with that because i know a lot of guys are quite shy and if this makes it easier for them to get started that's cool

actually i heard of this email thing starting up somewhere but i also heard that it was a bad thing to do because some girls are mean and keep it as physical evidense to use against you socially. 0.0 glad to her that your nice though ;) kudos for that

for first dates, in person is best, but over the phone isn't bad.
NEVER EVER call me at work, though. Bad idea!
And yes, plenty of days in advance. Anyone who gives short notice, just makes me feel like they don't really care, if they didn't put enough thought in to ask me with enough time for ME to plan.
If you've been dating for a while and things are more casual, emails or texting can work too.

Well i guess i prefer being asked. although i shouldn't really say this i'm married, but lets say i was single and not madly i love with my wife. i'd be happy to be asked, since i'd probably ramble and make no sense. (rather like this)
I wouldn't really care eithe buddy, aslong as it was a robot or something lol =)

WOOT finally a guy comment XD thanks for the response man. its much easier when the girls ask isnt it ;) but thats only happened to me once and it was in person. WAIT TWICE. but that girl was a ********************** and i hate her to this day. mumble mumble . that one was over the phone.

I'd actually prefer to be the one asking the woman out. I'd first get to know her and only do it once I'm pretty sure we've got a good relationship starting off. However, if someone did ask me out I'd like it to be face to face. I don't know why but complete contact with the person seems imperial.

I prefer to be asked out either in person or on the phone. But my biggest thing is NOT the day before, give me a few days ahead to plan.
