A 28 year old (I think) Lady joined a contest that was on the radio , and ended up dying . The contestants were made to drink 4 litres of water all at once , I believe, this lady won but She died from consuming too much water too fast. We all know water is needed to live, so how much is too much.
I drink about 10-12 glasses a day . Anyways, the last I heard, was the radio hosts/hostesses were all fired from their jobs as a result af the lady dying. (She was supposed to Win some computer game, or something like that.)
My point is that it is possible to drink yourself to death . WHO WOULD GUESS!!!

Yes the people involved ended up being fired . I mean can you blame the radio station for not keeping these people on ? I heard also that they had similar episodes where they would dare the Contestants things that were dangerous , without checking with a Doctor .
CRAZY

You should drink 8-10 glasses of water a day, but not all at once, it completely throws off the balance of electrolytes in your bloodstream and can be fatal, as this case showed. I'm glad to hear that everyone involved was fired.

Wonder if it was because she drank it too fast? I have never heard of anyone dying from drinking too much water under normal circumstances. I think her family is sueing the radio station.
