Peru is a country in south america. You might know Macchu Picchu, but it aint the only atractive of this country. Here you can find great beaches along all our coast, you can find desert, plains, volcanoes, high risk at the andes, big mountaings, great lakes like the Titicaca at Puno, big rivers like the Amazons, and a very deep jungle with a lot of rare animals and plants. Here in Peru you can find anything you want. And if you find this to much, you can do City tourism at Lima, a big metropolis with modernity and culture spread all in one! ;) try Peru... and you ll never forget!

When I think of Peru I think of the story of Paddington The Bear. I guess I don't know all that much about Peru. Have you read that book that I am referring to??? It's a very old book. BTW -- your description of Peru sounds very nice! Maybe some day I will visit Peru.

I did visit Peru for my first time last year. So beautiful is the landscape. the mountains, the water, Lake Titicaca. But even better were the people. So friendly and warm. I speak very little spanish and many of them spoke very little English, yet we were still able to communicate. The food was amazing. In Lima I had the best Ceviche ever. The trout on Lake Titicaca was to die for. However in all honestly, I have to encourage every traveler to get out of Lima and experience the rest of the country. Staying there would be like a trip to the US and only visting NYC.

I agree, when I ws there I was only in Lima for two days, and it was cool, but there were so many other places to see as well! I missed out on Titicaca, but saw a lot of other wonderful sights!
