Shower gel vs Soap

Do you have a preference for bathing? Do you use shower gel or bar soap? I've been using shower gel for years. Sometimes I've used bar soap but not often. Shower gel just seems more convenient to me.

I enjoy using either shower gel or liguid soap. I rarely use a bar of soap. I like nice sented flowered soaps. Creamy and rich when applied. Don't forget to rate your replies with a + if it answered you, - if it was a one word reply, ! if it was vulgar. And, if you really like the reply, please remember to give it a "best respose." Blessings, M&M

i've used both before in my life and i do say that me and my husband probably prefer gel then to bar soaps. its little more cleaner because you don't get that soap resedu all over the place, and of course you can get a better lather from gel then you can with a bar soap. its also easier to travel with because its already in a bottle and you don't have to let it dry out.

We never use bar soap anymore... mostly because I find it so messy and I hate having mushy, drippy soap bars around the sinks and tubs LOL I have a wall dispenser in the shower for gel and shampoo, that's really practical, and we have pump dispensers at all the sinks :)

There's nothing worse than mushy soap! I hate when it leaves that scum behind wherever it's been left sitting. Bleah! I think I need to buy some pretty dispensers for my bathroom.

I definitely prefer Shower Gel! It's easier to use! Sometimes I try bar soaps as well, but they are more difficult to use....

Shower gel is much better,, easier to lather up and wash off and better for your skin. The one downside is that they are more costly than bar soap and get used a lot faster.. My girl yells at me for using too much at one time.. They make the stuff pour out so fast, and you always end up spilling some on the shower floor...

I have a foamer. Have you seen these? I mix my shower gel with water and put it into this dispenser and it comes out as a foam. It takes about 1 part shower gel to 3 parts water. It really helps stretch the gel and makes it more economical.

I prefer shower gel by far - the only problem being that I get bored of them quite easily, before I run out. I need to find an e-tailer where I can buy 20 teeny bottles (for a decent price) in a variety of scents or something. *l* Amma

I prefer shower gel. It conditions your skin. And it also keeps your bathroom looking prettier.

I gave up using soap years ago. To me the soap is obselete. I do not even consider buying one. Lets face it, I think a shower gel is way more hygenic even at the sink. Plus it gets rid of all the grime the soap leaves behind and the problem of what to do with the small piece that remains too small to wash with.

I use shower gel as soaping is drying on skin. Also shower gels easier and more hygenic.

I prefer shower gels to bar soap since I find most bar soaps to be really drying. There are a few soaps I use, but only because I can't get that scent in a shower gel.

I would have to say shower gel. I love it much more than having a bar of soap to lather up! Plus its much more convienent!
