Can the computer damage your eyes?

Do you use computer a lot? Can it destroy your eyes?

Yes you can see from my posts I use both at office and at home. may be 5 or 6 hours a day. It damages the eyes no doubt. Then the radiation i do not know. but i never see T.V. we need to use a transparent cover for the monitor. I have one at office but not here at home.
