Are you watching the Canadian Deal or No Deal tonight? What a great looking set with the Maple Leaf shaped floor and everything in Canadian red. They are even using Loonie and Toonie for $1 and $2. I guess it is nice to use Canadian models but I wish they had brought #9 Patricia with them. She's my favourite, for obvious reasons. LOL! They even have a different banker and show him from a different point of view. I did try out for the show but, alas, I was not called. Anyone else watching? What do you think?

I see that you wrote this a week ago but yes, I have been watching the Canadian "Deal or No Deals". That show is just awesome and I'm so glad they brought Howie to do some episodes in Canada..do you know how many they are filming from here? I had thoughts of trying out for the show but figured I wasn't interesting enough to make it to the actual show itself. Did you just apply or did you make it to the actual audition? If so, what was it like? What did you have to do? Are you one of the ones who would've went all the way, or do you have an amount that you would've jumped and said "DEAL" without hesitation. I can't get over how much money some people lose on there!

Unfortunately they only taped 5 episodes. I filled out the online form which took over an hour. I had to download photos of my family and my support members including their contact information. No, I didn't even get a phone call. I don't think I am very interesting either but I'm not sure how they can tell by just filling out a form. But they asked questions like "what is the most exciting thing you've ever done?" and to write a brief poem about yourself, what would you do with the money... stuff like that. I tried to use my illness (fibromyalgia) as a platform hoping that would catch their eye, but it didn't. I don't know what you have to do to be interesting enough to get on a game show. It's kind of disappointing.
