Superbowl Proposal???

Ok, I'm sure that the majority of people have at least heard of the man that wanted to propose to his girlfriend on the Super Bowl commercials. If not, the short version is that a man wanted to buy a commercial spot that goes for about 2.5 million US dollars, tried to raise money, got approximately 75,000.00, and then it sunk in that he just wasn't going to raise 2.5 million, so he donates the money. Then he goes on this crusade to try and get one of the huge companies to sponsor this plan..it was supposed to air tonight, and unless I totally missed it, I just didn't see anything like it on there at all. Now, what, if anything did you think of this "mystery man" and his little crusade, and have you been following it faithfully? Were you upset that no one would help this poor guy out in the name of love? Spill it all here! And if you want to check his page out, you can find it at http://www.mysuperproposal.com

I don't know about this. It sounds kind of like a scam but I checked out his website and even the site that his commerical was supposed to on - and I didn't find it either. I hadn't even heard about it but I think if someone did do this the idea behind it would be incrediably romantic. I'm just not sure during the Super Bowl - unless she's really into sports. Now maybe during my favorite TV show or something :) But then again there is a small fraction of the country who is not watching the Super Bowl so that adds to the romantic value.

Thanks for best response! I did go and check that out! Her response brought tears to my eyes! That was extremely romantic. She seemed very surprised! Whether it was because of the way he did or him actually asking her or even both. I'm very happy for them and thanks for sharing :)

I never heard of this until after the superbowl. Poor guy! Someone should have given him a break! At least he's going to donate the money... that's a great guy! Let's hope she says yes!
