What things in your locality could you consider as the worst polluting practices in your area? What do you suggest to stop these acts against the environment? I think disposable diapers should be banned. They are dangerous to our children as well as to our soil and groundwater supply. A child will produce over one ton of diaper-based garbage in its diapered days. Want to know how long it takes a disposable diaper to decompose? So do I. I can't tell you because one hasn't yet.

Not to mention the trees that are cut off every year due to disposable diaper supply demand. I hope people would go back to the old days and only use disposable diapers when necessary.

Not just in our locality but the wole country itself. The most considered polluting practice here in our country is the fumes that the vehicles gives out. It pollutes the air very much. If this is not prevented the new generation can not have clean air, they can not live in a clean environment. Right now, the government is introducing the coco diesel oil which is harmless to the environment. Gradually, our country can have a more pollutant-free environment.
