Knowledge & Wisdom - Which is important?

We really find people having knowledge does not have the Wisdom which we deserve in them. At the same time many Wise people don't have even basic knowledge. So as a person which is important Knowledge or Wisdom!!!!!

oh, i really thought "knowledge" and "wisdom" are the same or are synonymous!! i looked at the MS Word, and found out that knowledge has meanings acquaintance, information and wisdom..
the wordnet tells that wisdom are accumulated knowledge.. or the ability to apply knowledge or experience or understanding or common sense and insight..
so i guess, wisdom is applied knowledge..
that would be better-- wisdom, cause you are already applying the knowledge..
did i understand it right?
