I am guilty of being hopeless romantic. I dig mushy love stories and i know i am not the only one here! I wonder what's your love story? If you are married, what made you decide that your partner is The One? Please share with me, even those 'tragic' love stories. Thank you! =)

i agree with you & i guess my own story fits this discusion. i hope you'll enjoy this, so here it goes.. well, i first came to know my husband only by name when i was in the first grade, i was about 7 years old then. how could i ever forget it when his full name was written in big, bold letters on the front cover of the math book my dad borrowed from his dad (both our dads were officemates back then) which i used every school day for the whole school year in the first grade but i never really had any idea of who he really was then. when you're seven years old, you never really bother to know, would you? :) lolz' then when i was in fourth year high-school, barely 9 years after, my friend often mentions his name & i thought it was someone familiar. true enough it was that name i had known 9 years back. but, not until after two years more i finally met the face behind that name & was formally introduced to each other through our mutual friends. i could say there was a little attraction with that meeting but at the back of our minds we decided not to pursue it sadly because he was already committed to a four year relationship so i have always thought it will never flourish. so, i continued w/ my other interests & so was he but we remained friends. yet, he tried to keep in touch w/ me once in a while to keep up with each others lives. then, one day i just learned that he had broken-up w/ his girlfriend. little did we know, we fell in love after a couple of months. we went steady for 9 straight years. believe it or not, we only broke up once on our eighth year & we realized that it was a test for our love if we were really destined to be w/ each other. now, we are enjoying 6th year of marital bliss w/ our two adorable sons. marriage & relationship may not always a bed of roses, but with hard work & prayers, we are able to stay in love together, hopefully, for the rest of our lives.
