I believe the society plays a great role in the formation of a person and in turn reflects in the nature and level of crimes associated therewith. For instance, the level of poverty and lack of amenities in third world countries contributes to its high rates of crime as " man must survive". If you have adverse views name a well structured society with high crime rates.
