Link exchange on weblogs

So we all know that external links are the main factor in getting to the top rankings at Google and other search engines if you have a website but what about weblogs? Is that the same and can you make link exchanges for that too to get at the top of Technorati? I'm doing a little experiment on this at www.linkmeupscotty.blogspot.com but I would like to hear about more ideas to get a bigger audience for a weblog. So let the thoughts and ideas flow this way!

It's what they called Link Love. I just recently attended a bloggers party, and that's where I've learn about it. It's like putting a link of everybody you've met at the party and you've been getting a love link also in return. You can check out my story at http://www.websaytko.com

Thanks raredog, sounds like one way to do it. I just wonder if you have to meet up in person to exchange links. That would make some things a little bit difficult.

No you don't have to, It's only my example. You can also add a link to your online friends too, like me. lol

Yeah sure. That's the least I can do for the advice and idea of link love. So you've should now be able to see a link from www.linkmeupscotty.blogspot.com
