Which is a better processor?Intel Brand or an AMD Brand?

Intel known from their Intel Pentium Processor. And AMD made their own brand of processor from K6 to Duron,Athlon and Sempron processor. Which brand of processor do you think are more reliable? When i was bought my computer i choose to buy with an AMD processor, because it is more cheaper compare to Intel processor with the same clock speed. But they differ to Front Side Bus Speed. Intel 3GHz with 533MHz compare to AMD 3GHz with 333MHz Front Side Bus Speed. Which is better do you think?

Now the crown goes to Intel. I want to update you, Athlon has it's 64 chip but it couldn't beat Intel's dual core which has an 800mhz fsb and now there's also a quad core that I use which has 1066mhz fsb and by next month I'll be getting the Clovertown core which is 8 processors. Intel is upgrading too fast that it might cause them to loose some profit due to buyers will just wait for the new processors to come out which only takes around a few months. I did a benchmark test for my Athlon 64 against my Dual Core 3.4ghz 4mb and 3.8Ghz 2mb and all the Intel's beat the Athlon 64 by a wide margin.

Intel is better, but more expensive, that's why tha majority of people buy amd, because is cheaper.
Intel is better for applications and games.

I believe Intel Brand is better than AMD because of speed ...But presently im using AMD processor ....

i don't have enough idea about it but i think both are very popular, i think intel processors are not reliable while amd is reliable. AMD is also best for games...

I'm using AMD for a long time..So far i can say that it is Good. Maybe someday i can use a Intel Processor for long period. So that i can compare which is better one.Thanks for responding

I think the AMD is better, they have more speed than the intel. I know it, before i become a amd processor i had an intel pentium. the intel always works slowly, but my new amd is very fast.

well sometimes it depends on the clock speed. But since new higher frequency processor are releases in the market..the competition between Intel and AMD is in the price of their product.

according to me AMD cannot match to the performace by INTEL PROCESSORS
INTEL ROCKSS
i think they core2duo processors are just awesome and now the quadro processsors is coming i think that is the fastest intel processor four processor in a single core it will be just awesome

thanks to your comment. AMD are new in the business compare to Intel. But i think AMD aren't far behind to Intel.
