which medicine to use during pregnancy

since i am suffering from asthma, i want to know which medicine will be safer to use during pregnancy with minimum side defects. i usually suffer attack during night while i am asleep or when exerted. i use medicine tedral (SA), i eat half of the medicine per day but i fear it is quite strong and may harm the child. anyone who is sufferring from this ailment and have successful pregnancy, kindly help

I do think u need to talk to ur doctor about this. I was on albuterol and asthmacort (sp) with all my pregnancies. I know if your nervous he can help you with what meds can be good. A lot have little to no side effects there ju precautions. So please do talk to him and find out for yourself.

I seriously advice you speak to your doctor about what is best for both you and the baby. Perhaps an aresol would work better during the pregnancy?
I hope you and the baby both do well. Talk to your doctor!
