I am still prety new and I have gotten a couple ov best reponses and I am just wondering if it is proper to thank the ones who have given them to you. Do you even open the conversation after choosing best response or is it pretty well resolved for you? What do yuo do when you cant decide whos is the best response? I fell bad when I have gotten so many good ones and I cant pick. What are your thoughts on this?

well whenever i get a best response i add the users under my friends list and start up a conversation with them and eventually thank them for selecting my response as a good response.i do open the conversation and rate all the discussions that are there in the discussions list since the discussions i respond to are from my interests and i love reading what other users think.:-)

Thats great, I ahve made a few friends but not many have responded to my messages and I was windering to if people just add you to there list becuase of earnigs or ratings or something. I love to chat with people and see what they think about things and hear how difernt life is for eveyone. Do you chat with all of your friends ?

I don't usually thank people for giving me a best response, and people to whom I have given best response have never thanked me either. However, I don't expect to be thanked, and I usually thank them for responding to my discussion. I also check back on my discussions, responses and comments to see if anybody has made any further contributions to the topic and I will leave another comment. If I am having trouble choosing a best response, I usually give it to the person who has created the longest response, provided it is one of the best.

That sounds like a pretty good method, I just wanted to make sure I dont offend anyone by not thanking them. I have seen that there is a lot of large groups of chatters that talk amongst each other quite a bit and I didnt want to swoop in and offend anyone. Thanks for your response, its nioce to hear from someone who has a history here !

Hi, Happymom. No I have not thanked anyone for choosing my responses as the best yet. I don't because I do not feel that I am the one who deserves the credit. When the responses are given I usually ask Holy Spirit for the answers. And sometimes I consult my daughters about it. So I do not desire to recieve the credit so I do not say thank you. And I do not require them to thank me for giving them the best response either, HappyMom.

I usually choose the best response by the one who understands what I am discussing and answers accordingly.

Me too, I only got few responses chosen as best response compared to the number of post I have started. But I make it a point to thank those people who appreciated my responses. I check the profile of those people and afterward, I add them to my friend's list and join their discussions eventually.
