Have you used an on-line dating service? If so, what was the outcome? Did you make friends, find a lover? Just curious of how popular these services really are!

I have never used an online dating service and can't imagine that I ever would . A couple of my friends have used them and really enjoyed them and did meet someone but my fear is always that you don't really know who these people are and how well they can be trusted . Not to mention I have seen to many movies that show how easy it is to sucker someone in and by then it is too late .

I totally agree. I dont think I would ever use an on-line dating service as well. I have a friend that is on them all the time (as well as dif chats) and actually met her husband on one...lol He moved here from Iowa, got married and not divorced 6 months later. I guess that is what you get from meeting someone on an unsure basis... I couldn't imagine. Like you said, you dont know who u can trust..or what they are really all about :S
