computers, branded or assembled?

well i too prefer the assembled one because you can customise it and get what ever specifications you want and then its also easier to upgrade

The hubby assembles ours. He does all the research in finding the best prices and equipment for it.

I would always prefer the assembled computers, because the premade ones aren't to my liking, and are either missing something or has something extra that I don't need which usually skyrockets the price. One of the things I don't like about the premade desktops is that they always put around 250gb in the hard drive and that to me is way too much. I'm able to deal with just 60gb on my current desktop and I have to trouble on it.

I prefer assembled for a reason: they are WAY cheaper than most branded ones, plus you can customize them into what you want or can afford. Only if you have a lot of money and you can afford a really great computer i'd go for a high class branded computer, but that only happens in a minority of cases.
