As a girl in the 3rd world country like the Philippines. For us the effective way to do diet is after 6. Meaning, you must not eat after 6. For me it's really effective.

Yes I know, Me too. But I have to make some sacrifices for myself. Because I want to loose some weight. Try it. Anyway there is no harm in trying. I've suggested this routine of some of my friends. And If i'm not mistake within 2 months they really loose some weight.

As an outsider (U.K.) I think I may see your problem quite clearly. You have arrived at a place where portion control is unheard of. Meals are enough for a horse. That is why so many Americans are so overweight. It is also why the fitness industry is so lucrative. Just stop eating halfway through that meal and get out and run it off!!! You'll be fine.

my room mate and i have gained whopping pounds. and i think u r correct by suggesting to stop eating halfway through. sometimes i get hypnotized when i am eating. i get mental black out on the things i am doing, esp eating. i should be cautious this time. :)

Being that you worked in a health club, I will assume you understand the importance of exercise. What has changed in your eating habits? That is what a nutritionalst or dietician will ask. Are you consuming more quick service meals? Does the temptation to watch the junk box take over you? I would think that many things have changed for you going to the US. Get back to basics. Spend more calories than you consume, lots of water, no caffine, no diet pills, exercise and more exercise, no tv, and more exercise.and LOTS of H2O. Good Luck
