Yes from experience definately, give them time and they will become best of friends...my cats range from the age of 9 years old and my latest stray is now 7 months, it took then a while to stop hissing at each other they do have their lttle tiffs every now and then, but they all love ecah other, right at this moment all four of my fur balls are curled up togther on my bed, can't make out their heads or their...bu....s

Thanks thats good to know because it's terrible seeing my oldest trying to swipe the youngest every time she is remotely near her.

I have two cats- one (Whiskers) we've had for 14 years, she's around 17. The other (Syna) we got a year and a half ago, she's about 3. When we first got Syna, the two did NOT get along. We had to divide the house in half and keep them apart, or all heck broke lose. They've very, very slowly adjusted though. Now they can sit close to each other without exploding, although they aren't friendly. I think they will probably grow used to each other, but it will probably take a long time. Just be prepared to be woken up by loud cat fights in the middle of the night ;)

My three females didn't always get along. The one cat is definitely the leader, she is very bossy. It took them quite a while to get along. They say you have to let them work it out. They say that females are more territorial. Not sure if this will improve, but they will definitely learn to at least get along.
