Toyota T-100. One of the best pickups ever built

It was not pretty, it was not the biggest or pulled the most payload or even the most torque of any trucks around at the time...But it was incredibly reliable and it just kept on going. Most 1995-1998 Ford, Chevy and Dodge trucks are in the scrapyard (Still alot of them out there I know, but less then 50% of what they sold) while these little workhorse trucks are still going strong. You won't be pulling a large boat or Horse trailer with one but anything else out there needing to be hauled the surprising strong V-6 will take it and go while getting over 20 MPG. Try that with an F-150. I had one that was my baby for years. It racked up 180,000 miles before it was totalled in an accident and that was the only thing that could have kept it down. That truck purred like a kitten at 180K miles and sounded just as good as it did at 1 mile. Now my Tundra does have more pep and more room inside with a better sound system and all but I miss getting over 20 miles to the gallon on a Truck that is not a 4 cylendar gutless wonder.

my daddy had a t100 and he absolutely loved that thing, he drove it for a long long time. I still miss that truck, it was the prettiest color blue.

I admit I do miss mine too. It was a black 96 SR5.
