The Lost Colony - are we losing ourselves ?

America and England have a close relation and have done for a long time, disregarding the kerfuffle in the late 1700's and early 1800's. But is it a relationship of equal partners or is England being the puppy so wanting to please the master no matter what? Is England the 51st state or still a sovereign nation?

England is just a puppet now day... And its far from being the "51st state" or whatever you call it..

I can understand why you present this scenario, but I do not believe that there is any real grounds for concern. The situation that you refer to is genuine enough, but this is a relationship between Blair and Bush and I consider the relationship between Britain and America to be more reciprocal.

I am convinced that Blair is a puppet and his strings are pulled by Bush. If you look carefully you will see that the strings are becoming more noticeable. I'm sure the American government would like us to be the 51st state but hopefully we can remain British. To be honest, with allies like Bush we can do without making enemies.
