I really don't have a lot of money to spend online, but I did spend over $50 on a PDA that I really love. It is an older style model of PDA that actually has a small keyboard that is like a real computer keyboard. It is just smaller than a normal keyboard. I can happily type away on it just like i would with a real computer. I spent about $70 on the PDA on Ebay, because I could not find a PDA that fit my needs that was a new model anywhere. I have been very happy with my purchase! ^_^

The most expensive thing I ever bought off eBay was my elctro-acoustic guitar - a Yamaha APX3a. It was £200 which I believe is roughly $400? Its gorgeous anyway and its a fabulous guitar. I've also bought a tenor saxophone from eBay but it got damaged in the post so I sent it back. I don't feel there is an especially high risk in buying more expensive items from eBay as long as you make sure the seller has a really good reputation and it is safer to pay by paypal as it has a buyer and seller protection scheme.

Pity about the sax. But you make good points there about checking the sellers feedback and reputation and using PayPal.

Well, I don't use ebay all that often but the most expensive thing is a pair of Oakley Sunglasses. I think I paid $80? maybe?

My most expensive buy was some Baby Phat gold heels for £60 ($100). I love them but hardly ever wear them as their so painful!
