Hi Friends here is an idea that is different and will save you money I used this recipe to feed my family when my purse was empty, no one ever knew. It's a bit like stretching a peanut butter sandwich to feed three or four. Maybe it will help someone else! Ingredients: 2 tablespoons peanut butter 3 tablespoons cold water 6 tablespoons breadcrumbs(fresh about 2 slices of bread) 1 small onion (chopped fine) Mix all together with the back of a spoon until you form a paste. Form into six rissoles. Dredge lightly with flour and pan fry in a little oil until crisp and brown. These are great with tomato sauce or gravy, flattened and used as hamburgers in a bun, or cold and served with salad.

Ok lifeiseasy a rissole is normally mince that and you mix it with other things e.g. egg, carrots, onions etc and you roll them into little balls shapes that is what rissoles are. They are yummy actually the other person that replied to this she tried them today and sent me a message in regards to she loved them.

This sounds crazy! But I am going to try it because I am a curious and always hungry man. I know how much peanut butter can stretch a dollar in general, so I am very intrigued. So, for the breadcrumbs, do I just cut or tear the fresh slice of bread into small pieces? Thanks!

Hi In regards to the breadcrumbs, you do not tear the bread you either grate it or you can buy breadcrumbs in a package it all depends on where you live, but we can buy ours but when they run out and I need to use breadcrumbs, I just grate mine or you can cut into very small pieces. Thank you for responding to my receipe.
