california - most expensive real estate value?

is it really true that california has the most expensive value when it comes to real estate? why is that?

I don't know if it is the "most" expensive but there is a good reason for a lot of people wanting to live there. The weather is practically perfect and the land is beautiful. It only rains once in a while. Different flowers are in bloom all year round. I would love to live in California.
